For me, alhtough I really support, enjoy, wear and love street style fashion and street inspired looks on runway, couture is the essence of the fashion. It represents dreams and takes you to the world where everything is possible and acceptable. It is the reason why I love the fashion so much.
My favourite couturist after late McQueen is definitely John Galliano! Here are the looks from his Spring Couture 2011. line. Looks like the trend in fashion's la-la land is fierce, passionate but romantic voluminiousness. :)

This collection was stunning. And what a perfect choice of words to describe it - fierce and passionate. I love the quote you included. I don't think I've ever read that before. There is a lot of truth in what is stated there and something to certainly always keep in mind that we are the nourishers of our dreams and the lives we want for ourselves. Thank you for reminding us of this.
